During my late teens I began feasting on scriptures and have ever since.
I study the classic literature shown here on the site, in and out of school attending many Shakespeare productions in the U.S. and one at the Globe Theatre in London on the River Thames.
During my young twenties, I began a study of herbs traveling to many small health food stores in and out of Seattle for herbs. At that time I was combining my own tinctures and sharing them with family and friends.
I have kept this up, reading classic literature, studying natural health and herbs during college as well. In fact my college studies took a backseat to my personal passion.
I have stuck to a healthy diet most of my adult life, eating steamed vegetables, fruits, some grains, no milk, etc... and discontinuing sugar for many years at a time.
I have experimented with cleansing since my young 20's. I began trying out 3-12 day cleanses while getting professional hydro colon therapy done to support the cleanses. No one I knew was doing this or talking about it. Most of my decision to do it came from a conviction born of study and intuition.
When I was 34 years old I chose to do an 8 month cleanse beginning and ending at the Young Life Human Research clinic located, at the time, in Utah. The cleanse lasted from early December to late July.
This was the most incredible health experience of my life. I experienced what I was seeking for so long. It was beautiful.
In 2001, following a lead from a week long conference, I began studying what's really going on with our country, reading and seeking out truth about government.
I have a passion for collecting genealogy and have stacks of family history, collected from relatives and in travels to Europe.
I began collecting genealogy and visiting some of the states and countries of my ancestors. I believe this to be vital to the health of the heart and mind.
I grew up playing soccer, working on our horse farms and working with my dad at 3 nurseries.
In my late teens, we moved to the Cascade mountains. We worked at what became our family business guiding people on mountain horseback trips through the beautiful Cascades.
When I hit 19 years old my hunger for reading and seeking consumed me. From then on, to this day, 31 years later, I have stayed on this path.
In my early twenties I visited the family business for a few days to help on a 15 mile guided horse packing trip. I followed the group a couple hours behind with the pack horses carrying all the food and supplies reading Leo Tolstoy's, "War and Peace," on horseback.
I have had this hunger for searching and seeking and I still have it today.
